I wonder why...

"...the front of which are equipped with pretensioners –
although, in the new 7 Series, the pretensioners use electric motors rather
than pyrotechnics to pre-tension the belt an anticipation of impact."

Nice option

"audio amenities include new hard-drive music storage
"

I like this "and a first-ever Integrated Owner’s Manual."

"The new 7 comes standard with a 40-GB hard drive, which provides fast access
to navigation data and space for approximately 13GB allocated to music
storage. Music data from a CD, MP3 player or USB stick can be transferred to the hard
drive then accessed at will. Via iDrive, users can enjoy programming from a
personal music collection, directly from a CD or other external player, or the
radio. Individual music pieces (“songs”) are listed alphabetically by their title and
performer, and thus, easily located.
"

I gotta say I'm really impressed with this car and borderline in love.

Check out the photoshop job above to see what it looks like with a simple bumper change (credits: stolen from 7post) and some other pshops done in this thread: http://www.7post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=154008

Looks good to me,happy to see the shifter back on the floor instead of the geriatric ,nursing home residents favorite clicker next to the steering wheel (also kept me from getting S65,stupid thing).
The only thing to wait now,is the real powertrain they have to put in that thing, must have close to 600hp or more to tempt me......

I like it alot.

It gives hints at the new 5 series. Love the head and tail lights.

Agreed, it looks like an LS460...but then they went to Autozone and stuck on the worst looking side gills I've ever seen.

Balls car. Nice choice for a large sedan. Right now, the CL63/65 does it for me in the MBZ world. I had the 7 series with the sports package, and it did nothing for me. The looks of the new one are better, but I would have to drive it to see if I could drive it every day. The Beast is just too much fun.

i love overall look of the new 7er..and the overblown grills, im sure they will look ferociously great with a more aggresive front bumper..just compare the standard e60 with that of an M5/Msport front bumper..which one looks better? im sure this is the case with the new 7..
