Everyone's Specs

Hello.

I'm new to this message board thing. I'm only 14, so I can't get a car yet, but I'm gonna get an M5!

I guessing the reason that I havn't heard of an M5 with a supercharger is that there's not enough room under the bonnet. If that's the case, I'll just have to put 2 turbo's on mine!

To start off with, I'll probably get a cheap second hand car. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

P.S. You can also brag about how good your car is here

I'm from New Zealand, and the most popular cars are mainly small ones like the Civic's, and the Nissan Skyline's, Primera's, and Pulsar's.

I might try and see if I can buy my Uncle's car off him. It's a 1966 Mk. III Ford Zodiac Turbo, develpoing 220HP.

you're only 14 and you have driving license? Hmm... i might suggest you can buy any car you want , but don't get into races at first , that's the most important thing... (i know what you'll think , some old guy tells you something and thinks he's the shi* , but trust nobody has expierience at this age , and i know what every new driver thinks - "I OWN THE ROAD" )
My suggestion is not to buy civic or something like that , but buy a big car , maybe an E32 7-series or an E34 5-series with 6-cyl , like 525 or 535...

Anyway 14 is the lowest age to have license i have heard of... is it a full-international license or there are grades?

noooooooo. I said that I'm only 14 so I cant get a car yet. In New Zealand you have to be 15 before you can get you learners license. You need to be on that for 6mths then you can sit you restricted. You go onto your restricted for 18mths (or 12 if u do a defensive driving course) and then onto your full. I turn 15 on the 4th of December, so I can't wait.

Rules of our restricted license:
- No passengers unless they have held a full license with no bad marks against for more than two years

- No driving after 10PM at night

- Not to exceed 80km/h on the Motorway or open road. All other roads standard limit is obeyed

Now, about getting a car. I haven't got a job, so I can't exactly afford a Bimmer at this point. I'm probably gonna be allowed to drive around my Dad's car. Nissan Avenir Desiel, 2 ltr 5 speed.

Cya
