a actually rode in a new CTS which a co worker rented. I didnt get to drive it but I have to say that the interior is the best I've seen from Detroit. Also has anyone tried getting into the back seat?! The door openings are tiny and oddly shaped.
Lastly on the upcoming CTS V, if the tranny is the same as the 08 vette, I will have to give it serious consideration as I drove the new vette (not Z06) and the 6spd is much improved. I would its better than my e39.
The lastest specs on the V are 500hp for about 60k. We'll see.

-I rode in the back seat of each car, behind my 6'-2" friend (and vice versa). We were comfortable in the back seat of each of the cars, the CTS and the Lexus being the roomiest by a small but noticeable amount.

Regarding the C6 6spd I disagree about it being desirable. The C6 Vette I drove had a crap shifter (all rubber and rocks), although the clutch pickup wasn't as bad as the last-gen CTS-V.
