Adverts.

I appreciate that the site needs to generate revenue and that ads are a necessary evil. But quite a lot of us, I'm guessing, access the site at work, even if at lunchtime. It's frankly stupid to have adverts that make noises start automatically. Especially when they are below the page break so it isn't immediately obvious why my machine is giving me some cheesy American marketing spiel.

Really, hugely unimpressed. Because all it has done is make me install adblocker on my desktop and laptop. So now none of your advertisers get the potential benefit of my attention. Bet lots of others are doing it too...
