I've had no issues with this at all, but I'm not using the home page to access M5board.com like it sounds like you guys are. I have http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/ bookmarked as my M5board button.

Are you guys typing the site's name manually every time you want to visit? If not, what is your bookmark targeted to? You may want to try recreating a new bookmark directly to the forum instead of the main page to see if that helps. You can always use the links on the header to visit the main page if you want to after you're on the forum.

HTH,

Tim

HTH,

Tim

Well I think you have highlighted in a better way what most are saying...

I go in from the main page, so yes, apparently now I may need to try it and make different bookmarks on all my computers...

- - the point is, if the main page says remember me, just like the OLD main page, this is leading everyone to have the same expecations they had with the old main page...

- - OR - now if they are REALLY logged in, as Gustav explains earlier, but the main page shows they need to RE log in, well, even more unnecessary confusion....

.

Would it be possible to have the "new posts" pages load more than 25 threads at once...perhaps 50 or 100???

I see that it logs you out when you are inactive for a period of time, which is a nice security feature, only I feel that it logs you out too soon.

Automatic Log Out

+1 here re: automatic log-out, if there has ever been such feature. I have upgraded to IE8 last week from IE6, just today i noticed that the system logs you out once you leave it untouched for sometime.

I didn't have these kindof issues with the oldie IE6...
