In the email it would be nice to have a copy of the actualy reply sent from the user that made the reply copied to the email so we can tell if its worth signing on to reply or not.
IE:
"TheProPilot has replied to the thread entitled 'bla'
here is what was said:
'that would be freaking cool.'
There might be other replies also, so check the thread here

I've suggested that in the past, I like the way Facebook sends you the contents of messages received or what's been written on your wall, saving you from having to log in to read it.
The problem, however, is that it would mean fewer visits to the board, meaning fewer ads shown = reduction in revenue?

Yes the problem is I get the reply notices on my blackberry which doesn't display this website tooooo well so if someone sends a reply I can tell they wrote me back but I still have no way of knowing what they said. I'm not going to go on just because of a single reply if it's worthless especially the worthless ones. For example if someone posts "subscribed" i think there was a real reply. Soooo I spend the time to stop what I'm doing to read "subscribed"... wow that is annoying LoL
I understand if its a marketing thing, but wouldnt it be better for marketing if they desire to come on and are satisfied with it? I am already rarely coming on here and just using my subscribed threads tool to catch up on past replies... This makes me sign in less!
Just throwin it out there
