European Prices Released
From Inautoews:
Quote:
The new 2013 BMW M6 coupe (F13) and convertible (F12) have been priced for the UK and German market.
The new M6 Coupe will start in the UK at £93,795 and in Germany at EUR 123,600.
That’s almost 30% higher than the UK F10 M5, which starts at £73,040.

My guesstimate is either $112k or $119k MSRP in the US. (less than $10k more than the E63 or less than $120k)

Taking into account that my e63 M6 was MSRP of $113K loaded in 2008, I would expect that the comparably loaded F12 M6 would be about $130K, which doesnt take into account the carbon brake option nor the LED headlights which were not available, and these options together will add another $10K at least, and then you'd want to consider all the new Indi colors and interiors which start at nearly $8K, and all of a sudden I can see a $150K M6 coupe not including the taxes

The Individual Color prices were stated at around $5k USD. So you'd actually be looking at $147k =P

thats only if you get the color, but if you're going indi, you gotta go for the interior too, so that package is listed at 7,700 on the new 650i, id think the M6 option will be atleast as much

I'd slow down on these wild price guesses. Remember, you predicted the F10 M5 to rise by $20,000 in base price which I told you was never going to happen.
The $10k for CC brakes may well be close, but since that was never an option in previous gens it cannot really be counted against a total.

Did I miss the one where they released the Official prices of the US M5 as of yet? If not we still dont know.
And what I believe I said is that I cant see how the M5 would be less than a 650i which you can option out well over 100K. I dont think my quote was that the BASE would rise by 20K for the M5, but, I did say that I can see the new M6 being on average about $20K more than the e63 M6 when similiary equipted, purely based on the prices of the non-M which has risen by about 20K when compared to the e63 650i with the same packages.
I still say there is no way that anyone gets an M5 reasonably equipted for less than 100K, and in about 5 weeks we'll find out who's right

The only thing I see in our favor is the CLS63; the M6 grand coupe and the M5 are going to have to compete with the sticker price of $95k. Heck, if BMW sticks it to me with a $120k+ MSRP I might jump ship, or just keep my V10 and upgrade my daily driver to a nice supercharged RR.
