Oil line leak - again..! *security impact!?*

So...in case you didn't read my thread where I suffered from an oil leak in one of the oil return lines from the turbos, please check out that thread here.

And in case you wonder what THIS thread is about: YES, it happened again. I was driving along on the A24 and smoke was suddenly POURING out from underneath the bonnet. This time it was the return from the other turbo. And it's a car with 16,000 miles on the clock. Two failures in less than 2000 miles don’t exactly fit the description of a coincidence: to put it simple, the hose clamp that is supposed to seal the oil return from the turbo’s – is a design flaw. And it could be more dangerous than I have realised.

The one thing that made me REALLY scared yesterday was the amount of smoke that emerged from under the bonnet – which was nothing but scary – and the fact that I had my 7-year old daughter in the car. Here's the kicker: the oil leak (and apparent design flaw), is located just above what is likely to be the hottest point on the engine.

I have emailed BMW UK and informed them of the issue.
