If I did not desperately need a car I would have waited for 2014 - I have a feeling that BMW will be making some changes etc. I am also a firm believer that life is too short and usually you don't know what you have or don't have unless something you are use to. The side bolsters are nice but I never use them on the Cayenne and my 911 comes with comfort seats so X on the wait for that whether they come or don't with my car. The new controller (touch) may or may not make into 2014.. and the LEDs that everyone is referring to might be an easy retrofit. Yes its only 2nd year (2013) but remember this M5 is not all that unique to current cars in production like the E60 was with SMG/V10/etc.

I know the '06 E60 had it's issues as well. What does not make since is for us it is not a first year it is a second year for world release?

I would definitely wait, especially since you have three awesome cars already! Just think, MY2014 cars will be available in less than 10 months.

I would want the active side bolster seats; I use them daily on my E60. Plus front passengers always love them.

The new iDrive will probably be really cool too. You can imagine this controller being common on most BMW for the next 4-6 years.

Don't forget the most important part- carbon ceramic brakes, right?

when will BMW announce LCI updates to F10 5-series and M5? 5-series updates should give us a good idea of what to expect in MY2014 M5...with the exception of M5 specific stuff i.e. active side bolsters etc.
