European Delivery- recent allocation changes?

I've been working with a local dealer trying to put my ED order in. Well known dealer when it comes to no nonsense ED orders.

Anyway, he hasn't been able to put up an ED order for two weeks. Today he tells me that BMW has changed the policy and all M cars now come out of dealer allocation. Now we're stuck at MSRP, and I can't live with that.

Has anyone put in an ED order in the last couple weeks?

Wondering if I'm going to have to wait five or six months for the initial wave to subside.

That is correct. All M5's, regardless of US or ED, come out of dealer allocation.

Bummer for the salesmen. Some of them were probably doing very nicely with all the ED cars.

There still is an ED discount, so you would just have to pay ED MSRP, not US MSRP. That's a roughly 7% discount from US MSRP.

Yeah I know. Just uncomfortable paying MSRP, even ED MSRP. I'll probably do the deal whenever I can get $2,500 off ED MSRP. Sounds like I'm starting to cave.......
