Hi - I'm using the liquid gold i.e. super unleaded does seem to make a small difference

V Power all the time, only used normal unleaded twice during the fuel shortage, to be honest did not notice a great deal pof difference!

Use whatever BMW recommends. If you want an economy car, then get one.

Ironically out in West TX where we produce so much oil, we cannot get anything higher than 91 octane. There is one gas station on the interstate about 15miles away that carries 92. I have been known to make a drive every so often to get gas there but with 3 kids under 4 and a busy practice, my free time is limited so I have begun to question the benefit of that extra 1 octane. About half the gas stations only have 90 octane as there "super" unleaded

Everyone should be putting the highest octane they can get in these things, no question. A highly boosted, high revving, high performance tt V8...no question.

Wow that's shocking...is it like that across the state or just in your area?

Just put whatever it tells you to on the inside of the gas cap (if its there) or in the manual.....why even ask the question
