Has Anyone put spacers on their OEM wheels yet?

To me it looks like the rear wheels need them.

I'm sure your eye is sharper than all the BMW engineers that designed the suspension and driving characteristics of the M5

Guess the whole 27 billion dollar aftermarket industry is pointless then.

I'd go ahead and order a couple of different sets and see which ones you like best. I'd keep it H&R.

There are many factors that influence what the OEMs do, some of which are purely legal. As an individual you an make changes that please you and only you so thats why the aftermarket industry exists. I would submit that if the OEMs had the same latitude as individuals they might make some different choices... As I don't have an F10 M5, I have not tried spacers. I try to avoid them as a general rule but sometimes they are "necessary"--- usually when lowering a car.

this.

do what pleases you. I think the second post confused the OP's opinion on what look he prefers to claiming a design flaw.

^^^ Agreed. After seeing the car in the "flesh", the first thing I thought of was how much more aggressive the car would look with a little bit of spacer.

a friend of mine did it on his M6, and it looks great to me.
Handling seems just fine w/ the spacers.

I've had spacers on all my past cars to get the wheels as close to the fender as possible ranging from 5mm to 15mm. No issue at all. Just make sure to buy quality ones that are from well known brand.

The Panamera GTS comes from the factory with spacers so can't be that bad.

However, personally I would skip them. Benefit is cosmetic, they add unsprung weight to the car, and it places additional pressure on the wheel hub.
