There is a related thread here, but if the information is correct, that is actuallhy pretty impressive.
The E39 was rated 12/20 (revised) and the F10 puts out an extra 160+ hp!! E60 rated about 11/17, and about 50 hp less. So 14/22 is pretty strong for what you are getting.
As to pricing, again if the information is correct, it is in the same range as the E60, yet has a lot more technology. Depending on what BMW puts into its "base" price, it looks like about a small premium over the E60 and I am assuming no gas guzzler tax, making any increase more palatable. Most E60's went out the door close to $100k, I would expect about the same for the F10.
Wonder where the "EPA" ratings are coming from this far out before U.S. availability.........
