I ordered my F10 M5 in Triple Black because of what Wesley Snipes told me:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuag2ot4ZLU

"You can't make an E60 M5 like this no matter what you do. I don't mean that in a negative way. It is just a completely different type of car."

Not exactly - what we've seen so far is the track version of the exhaust which is way too loud to get road certified. This is the first formal announcement that they will do a road version. No surprise really, but also not "old news".

And as for price: given that an Evolution exhaust for the M3 already is around 5500 Euros incl. VAT in Germany, I don't think the M5 version will be any cheaper.

Don't worry about it. Just sneak one on. No one will notice. Just don't go above 2000 revs until you get onto those country lanes. Simple!!

Maybe, and maybe not. There are pictures of the MotoGP car where you can look "unter its skirt". Basically, there is no rear part of the exhaust except for straight pipes.
