I went with all 3 vids for Tacho speed messured in Youtube secs.
Assuming that all Tachos Speeds are wrong in the Same way the m5 f10 is about 6 to 9 seks quicker then the gtr 200-300 (485 / 530 hp Version)
I guess that the m5 will also take on higher Speed the 550 hp gtr

The 485 HP is slow, see my test of it on the autobahn on the previous posts in this thread.

Granted it was wet, but who's of the opinion that the F10 is faster than an SLS to 300 km/h? Gustav, do you still think the GT-R is slow above 200 km/h? 37.4 seconds seems quite fast to me.

To settle this, BMWNA's Matt Russell recently said this in an interview:

Q: Will the M6 models have more power than the M5?
A: These cars these days are so powerful and underrated that we’re not going to do 3 here, 4 there, 5 here. We call it 560(hp); it's a nice round number, we like it.

So, as you suspected, your dealer (like most) just made things up or provided rumors and speculations as fact.

+1

Dealers are often clueless and will say what ever to sell cars or seem like they know something. I trust what I read on these boards much more.

GT-R

Hi Guys,

The $tealer contacted me the other day to see if I was intrested in the launch of the new Beast in Australia.

At the time I actually said, Not Really. He was like

I said I like the GT-R. Rumour has it that next year will be the Last GT-R (R-35 anyway.)

I wonder if there will be another 7-10 years before the R-36 ?

Anyway, I plan on getting a GT-R. I'm just waiting for confirmation on whether the next one is it.

I remember reading back a few years ago that the R35 GTR is suppose to be "5 year" car.
So that means that MY 2014 should be the last year of the R35, there was also rumors that the next GTR would be a hybrid.
