I'm now so ashamed of York PA... I can tell you, though, that the //M badging does boost performance.

I live just around the corner from BMW NA Headquarters located in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. I recall seeing the E60 M5 before it was available in US dealerships. I would imagine that same for the F10 M5. I will grab pics and post them when this milestone occurs.

That is one awesome mini-van't. Best part is that it's probably front wheel drive too.

Before I got my M5, I remember see a chick driving a black regular 5 series with M5 badge on the 5 south in Irvine. There was no other attempt other than the rear badge. My friend and I couldn't stop laughing our asses off. I was joking that I finally found an M5 that I could race with my IS350.

Actually the van is mine - in York, PA - and it's AWD. It's strictly tongue-in-cheek absurdity. The M3 race car did away with its badge, and it had to go somewhere. What the heck, why not?

That's just it, Test mules are ALWAYS disguised, taped up and camouflage. That's why they have car unavailing, this is just a pure poser at its finest! Faking an ///M badge should be a federal offense and punishable by loosing your BMW. This makes a mockery of all the people that did spend the $100k on their rigs. This guy makes me puke!
