I find it funny...

BMW goes crazy in their design during the Bangle era, enthusiasts hate them for it
BMW tones it down and designs more classically beautiful cars, enthusiasts hate them for it

Nothing will ever look as good as the past when you're looking through rose colored glasses. If someone thinks the e39 was the best car BMW ever made, its going to be very hard to change their mind.

I agree, the new M5 future loks promising in terms of design, by judging jow nice the current BMW 5-series sedan and touring is of the F10 generation.

Once you get one thing your not happy and then you change it and your still not happy because you finally got what you want!

I applaud BMW for trying to stay ahead. However, I don't see any models in my garage for the near future other than my E39. When I replace the E39, I will most likely move on to some other brand. BMW has moved from its core and I will find another model that produces the same excitement of a naturally aspirated V8 with 400+ HP.
