BMW will earn my purchase of the F10 through another NA high-revving platform. That is what they are famous for, that's what we bought our M's for, and that is what I would buy one for in the future. There is certainly plenty of room for improvement on the S85. I think if the new M5 is a forced induction platform that is less impressive than the S85, I will heavily consider buying something else.

M knows what the enthusiasts and owners want, M should consult the current owners and take our opinions, that is how return business works. Who cares that everyone is going to forced induction, be different and make something special, like the S85. A TT V8 with a low-mid 7000 RPM redline isn't special in my eyes. I really hope they come through and make this motor fantastic, not good, but fantastic.

I agree totally. The last real motorsport MD of the M GmbH was Mr. A.P. Prommesberger who let the 'craftmen' of the M-GmbH at Garching make an E39 M5touring for his own privat use when BMW had refused regular production. Under some time this special car
was seen parked outside his home in Garching.

Good for you. Now would you mind posting and dreaming about it on caddy forums cuz these forums are dedicated to the ultimate driving machines which apparently come from Germany
