new m5 v8 tt

My friends i read a article in the automobile mag. ....and they confirmed that the new m5/m6 will be a v8 twin turbo...if this is old news im sorry.

You cant put information like this that contradicts another reputable thread posted by Gustav. Please post supporting info.

I'm not beleiving ANYTHING, until I see an official BMW press release of the F10 M5. Every week there's a new debate here about FI vs NA and it's all in vain until we know for sure. But hey, it's a forum, that's what it's all about

Let's hope Dimitri's article is just old news and Gustav's information is more in tune with what's coming down the pipe. Nothing against Dimitri, but a v-8 tt seems uninspired.

All the speculations are just that - speculations. I recall when the E63 M6 was about to appear, papers were speculating it will get even more power than the E60 M5, suggesting around 550bhp. Obviously not correct.

We shall see. TTV8 reworked from the X5M/X6M just seems very uninspired, given the unusual carte blanche the S85 V10 was given. I hope we see a V10 in some form once again.

I READ in Motor Trend edition that the 550i will get the v8tt and the 750? will get the v12tt hopefully M5 might get the v10tt ?

anybody ?
