I heard it will most likely come out in 2012, and I'd imagine it will come with DCT. HP estimates i have heard are from 550-600. should be awesome!

True, probably forced induction V10 with 550-600+ HP and for certain Double clutch.

If we're lucky it wil lweight less than the current one.

The SMG will be completely antiquated by the time this thing comes out. I'm sure there will probably be something faster than the DCT on the M3 by then. No worries -- M engineers will debut something that will be able to run circles around the CTS-V!

I sure hope that will be true: TT V10 over 550 horses. This V10 of ours in the M5/M6 is so addictive.

Steve Dinan also said the S85 has alot of room for additional power, and my guess on that is turbocharging.

+550hp in F10

If it's true that the M X6 and X5 will have a twin-turboed engine delivering 550hp I am certain that the next M5 will have more than that and not from the same engine as this will, in M-terms, be end of life by the time the next beast hits the street.

My guess is that the 'M'agicians is laughing in their lab because they have something crazy up their sleeve. They usually surprise us all

But how many of us can wait buying it until 2nd generation.. that's the REAL test
