2011 M5 to produce 536hp V8 TT

Not sure where to post this so please move if needed.

Found out from another site that the 2011 M5 will be a V8 TT that is going to put out 536 hp

http://www.pistonheads.com/news/defa...?storyId=18338

I'm only telling you what I have seen. What do you think of this news? I get the feeling that IF this is the engine then BWM will be making a torque monster.

I read about it on Autoblog.com, and thought to myself, what a shame that the V-10 may not live on. While the engine is a big deal, I would love to know what the next M5 will look like.

I'd rather have the TT V8 than the V10

How would this be much different than the Alpina B5?

Next M5 to be a TT V8

it looks like the V10 is history after next year.
BMW is going to a V8 with a twin turbo.
