Help !!! Exhaust smells like egg inside while idle

Hi my car smells like the Cats gone. I only get the smell inside the car while I'm idle in traffic, coming from the vents
I have installed a air temp sensor into the OEM air box but don't think this is the reason.
Is there anyway of testing to see if the cats have had it ??

If There was a problem with the cats, you would get a CEL.

The sulfur smell (rotten eggs) usually comes from the gasoline you use.
Try a different gas station and drive the car for a while.
Burn through a tank or two and see if the smell is still there.

Hope that helps.

If you are cooking your cats, check the fuel trims. Chronic rich condition is bad and can be solved with newer O2 sensors.
If you already cooked your cats, tap on them and listen for a rattle.
