Any UK meets planned?

Hey,

Now that I am picking up the beast at the end of the month, was wondering if there were any meets planned. I am thinking of driving down to Exeter from Scotland to meet a friend and am quite sure I can prolong the driving "torture" with a detour on the way home.

Anyone?

Regards,
Matt

Funny you should suggest this thread, I was thinking of a pre christmas get together just the other day!

I am in Rugby so I am fairly central. I am happy to travel as well....any excuse!

Come on guys, anybody interested in a Christmas meeting?
I'll bring the mince pies

OK, so I suppose the question is when is suitable for people? Someone will have to suggest some place with a car park and good food

The first week of December is good for me

OK guys, I'll be first to suggest a meet....

To keep it central how about Junction 1 retail park.
M6 jct 1, dual carriage way for 1.5 / 2 miles & it's on your left. They have a Frankie & Benny's (ok food, poor service) along the usual KFC & McD.
Large car park with cinema & bowling.
I thought we could all meet up, social in the car park, shirts V skins at bowling then food & home......?

Or......

Meet up at Kilworth House. M1 Jct 20 then 4/6 miles on the right.
Excellent venue, excellent food & impeccable service.
Lovely place but might be a bit boring....?

Or......

Sixfields retail park, Northampton. M1 Jct 15a / 16.
Another retail park only bigger!

Or.......

If you guys are further south how about Lakeside shopping centre?

As for dates, how about Saturday 6th December?

If I had an indication as to how many & where you are all coming from we could plan something else / better.

But for now thats my offering.

I was the first to suggest when I read this thread but fullhouse got in there whilst I was typing!

I am going to a session at Surrey Rolling Road on the 29th Nov. I saw it mentioned in the Alpina section, that would work out very well for me!

From what they have said there are not many Alpina's going. We could "hi-jack" the event!!!!!

Hey M-att,
To ease the torture I would be able to drive the Beast for you.
I wouldn't normally offer, but you being a fellow board member an all.....

I'll expect a PM with the details, shall I????
