I should check the schedule. The next working day the Ring is open from 1PM or earlier, I'm off.

Merci.

I still don't know if I want to add any power to the engine. I have a spare engine, with better camshafts (don't know exactly what, bought the engine when it was already modded), and I might put that engine in some day.

Yesterday I put Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tyres (225/45/17) on my Compomotive wheels, and put the wheels on the car. Haven't driven it since, so I can't give any feedback yet.

Better than R888?

By the way, anyone going to the Ring on Sunday June 8th? And on Monday June 16th or Tuesday June 17th? I'm going on the 8th, and on one of the 2 weekdays.

My personal opinion is that the Michelin CUP's are better than the R888. There is a price difference, the CUP's are more expensive, but I think they make up for the extra €€ spent.

Great info, thanks.

By the way, on June 8th, the Ring is not open for Touristenfahrten (Rock Am Ring).

Next trip: Monday June 16th.

I may join you on the 16th. I have some things I need to do to the GT before I go up there again. Replace a cracked rear brake disk is one of them.
