And today, I installed the adjustable camber plates. Fart's set is on the mail. He should have them by Tuesday or Wednesday.

I had to get 6 m8 bolts of 25mm to get them installed, they were not included...

Since the camber plates are lower than the OEM top mounts, the car is lower at front now. I will adjust that tomorrow. At the Ring, we'll need enough ground clearance...

I installed the first plate in a way that one adjustment only adapts camber, and the other adjustment only adapts caster. But I couldn't get enough negative camber. So I turned the plate 120°. Now both adjustments do a mix of camber and caster, but you can get a lot of negative camber.

Pictures tell more than a thousand words...

I took a day off on Wednesday, and went to the Ring.

I took it easy for the first few laps, just to feel what the differences with the camber plates are. First thing I noticed, on the way to the Ring, was that the car feels a little less steady at high speeds. Anyway, nothing to worry about, but it felt more steady before the plates...

Then, in the first few laps, it felt like there was less grip on the rear wheels while turning (I think it only feels like that, just because there is more grip on the front wheels). I was afraid the car would oversteer every now and then. It didn't. In fact, it felt great!

I did experiment a bit to see if the understeering disappeared, like in Adenaur Forst. There is less understeer, but I can still get it to understeer if I want to. Anyway, I like it like this!

I managed to do 16 laps, and was extremely tired at the end of the day.

That's 36 laps in the Ringtoy so far, without any issue!!!

Attached is a picture I found on the net from Schwalbenschwanz.

Had a rather good day again at the Ring yesterday. However, I did something stupid. At a moment, I thought the engine died... I could turn it on again, and drive calm to the Breidscheid exit, and then back to the entrance of the Nordschleife.

When investigating the problem, I noticed that the (don't know the word in English...) tool that looks like a cross, and is used to tighten the wheel nuts, was loose in the trunk. Every now and then, it made a short circuit on my battery

Now I attached that tool to the inner side of the spare wheel, issue solved...

46 laps and counting. Well, 46 and a half
