Team PTG M3

it's from official website, so since when did the racing version of M3 switch back to inline 6 from the V8, below is the spec.

3.4-liter, inline 6-cylinder
Bore/Stroke 87 mm / 95.0 mm
Horsepower 430 @ 8200 rpm
Torque 315 lb-ft. @ 6000 rpm
Induction System 6 individual butterfly throttles
Spark Plugs Bosch surface gap
Transmission Hewland SGTW six-speed

PTG Racing races this year in the Grand American Road Racing Association's ( www.grandamerican.com ) Rolex Sports Car Series. The 6 cylinder engine is according to their GT specs (http://www.ptgracing.com/cars.htm).
