Question for E46 M3 Coupe owners...

Hey there guys,

A friend of mine just got a used M3 coupe (titanium silver/ red leather, fitted with SMGII). It's his first bimmer

He's just got 1 question which the local service advisor couldnt answer. Is it possible to fit the M3 CSL's sexy alloys on the standard M3? Currently it's running on the standard 18" rims.

Any answers would be really appreciated.

Should go straight on no problem. Although I think you could only order CSL wheels if you had a CSL vin Not entirely sure about it. But I vaguely remember someone mentioning it.

Re: Question for E46 M3 Coupe owners...

If you search the net for CSL's that are for sale. They sometimes list the VIN so there is an easy way around that little problem

Out of interest, how much did they cost? They're about £250 each here in the UK.

That's one thing I didnt ask him...But they're sold here either individually or as a set of 4 (2 fronts and 2 rears)...excluding tyres...

My guess is that if you order them from a BMW dealer, they're gonna cost pretty much the same but I have noticed that some parts are cheaper in Singapore than some other asian countries (e.g. Malaysia). I think it's because BMW has a parts distribution center here.
