I'll claim to have an idea since one of my friends recently found a used M3. The automatic will hurt it, as will the convertible. The convertibles don't get hit as bad as the sedans, though. 1,700 or 17,000 miles? I'll assume 17,000. If it were a manual coupe, you could probably get $30k+ for it. For an auto convert., I'd guess more like $25k.

hmm, 1700 miles can be both good and bad...driving the car too much is bad, and not driving the car enough is bad as well...taking into consideration that the economy is not the greatest right now, if you get over 33k+ that would be a good price...good luck on it...
