ESS Supercharger in 330Ci

6 months ago I installed a supercharger on my 2001 330Ci. The kit came from European Supercharging System (ESS) in Norway. It is based on the Vortech V2SQ unit and is rated at 335 HP.
Engine now runs strong with good torque. My local BMW salesman drove it and based on its commendable torque, he suggested I cancell my M3 order. Major decision.

A month ago ESS contacted me, stated they installed the wrong program (left out 40 HP) in the ECU (which I had sent to them in March for appropriate SC reprogramming) and asked me to send it back to them again to re-reprogram it. The ECU has been gone now now for 3 weeks and ESS is having trouble returning it to me with dubious excuses about the shipper.

Their kit is great, installed reasonably well and looks good.
My question is ... do any of you guys across the pond know ESS and are they having any problems? Do they still have their act together?

Supercharger

Hi,

Bunch of questions. Have you dynoed the car? How is low end torque? Although you may have more HP what about suspension? Does the supercharger invalidate your warranty?

Response and update

No, have not dynoed car, seat of pants evaluations only.
Low end torque much improved, feels like small V8.
No changes in suspension, have sports package, make no pretenses - it is not an M3 there.
Warranty: dealer will not warranty any parts/systems supercharger related or affected, at their discretion. However, one can purchase an extended warranty for about us$2500 for which BMW will warranty all (except SC itself) for life of factory warranty.

Finally got ECU back from ESS and, like they said it would, it runs even stronger especially at 4000+ rpm. It just leaps into the redline.

You have not yet tapped the full power in your car. ESS messed up the system for my car. I set out on a mission to fix this . I daily drive a 323 Ci with 350+ Hp depending on my boost which goes to 17psi.I don't say this to be rude but to encourage your potentical. never stop wandering.
