Rumors according to AutoExpress: 470 BHP and I quote: "If it does make production, the 4.0-litre V8 would get new valves, a carbon-fibre airbox and larger intakes boosting power to 470bhp."
Now that would be an M5 killer and a collector's item.

I bet they could find a lot of places to shave weight off of the stock m3. It depends how focused they want the car to be, but they could probably take a lot of weight off just by putting in carbon fiber racing seats, lighter wheels, carbon ceramic brakes, and removing the carpets and electronics.
