Well, TTS is one talented small car. 272 HP and 350 NM of torque on a 1400 kg car (I have race buckets that save some weight but also have S-Tronic which adds around 20 kg).

TTS has neutral handling, once it loses front grip, the haldex coupling send the power to rear wheels. So there is slight oversteer tendancy in handling characteristic.

However, the problem is you cannot fully turn off the ESP. IT cuts the power or brakes the necessary wheel once 1- you lift off the throttle to slide the car, or 2-brake to slide the car or 3-you oversteer with throttle in some wild angle.

Corner entry and exit speeds are as much as E46 M3 and it is nearly as fast as M3. I had superchips stage 1 software for a while on the car which in return makes the car 303 hp and 400 NM. With the software, the car became faster than E46 M3; especially between 100-250 km/h speed band. I did 285 km/h on digital readout and 290 km/h on the speedo.

HOWEVER, as fun factor, there is no comparison against E46 M3; especially CSL. After all the cars I had owned, CSL remains as best drivers car ever made, IMO.

By the way, I was very surprised when I discover that TTS is wider than E46 M3.
It is a light car, roof is alum. fenders are plastic. It has very nice and classy interior which I love and one of the reasons I choose the car.

Unfortunately, I never had a CSL. I only changed my 997.1 Carrera S with my friend's CSL for a weekend.
I wouldn't sell it if I had one.

It is faster when it has software update; stage 1.
In stock form, It has 0-100 km/h time of 5,2 with DSG.
0-160 km/h is around 12 sec.

With the software, 0-100 km/h is 5 sec and 0-160 km/h is around 11 sec and 0-200 is around 18 sec.
It is 150 kg lighter than E46 and with the software it has 400 NM torque on DSG equipped cars and 420 NM on manual cars.

But it is wider than E46 M3 and it is surprising if you consider the length of the car.

Here is my car on race track during different events:

BTW, I couldn't put that number magnet other than the door because the rest of the car is either alum. or plastic !!
