It retrospect some good quotes from the owner and builder:

We will see, but there are many people who has fitted the M3 3.2 and even M5 3.6-3.8 without any problems and I think this will be quite OK since it actually is 5 cyl long and don´t weight much more, but offcourse the chassie setting has to be adjusted.
I have been racing with a E30 with M5 V8 and E36 with 4.4 V8, and they were really fast with just slight modifications on the chassie.
Remember that the standard S14 is not mounted as far back as it is possible, the S85 will be mounted just against the wall, but the body will remain intact, I don´t want to destroy the car.

Dude, that thing is just freakin' orgasmic !!! Put it against HPF or some Porsches !!! I already commented on youtube's video .. :drool: !!!

Gustav, do you have full details about the process of swapping the engine .. I'm interested cuz my friend owns an E30 M3 (Roller) with no engine & drivetrain. He's interested in buying either the S62 or the S85.. so He was asking me if you could provide him with full details of the engine swap .. thanks :)

I would really like to know how heavy that engine is, cos if it shares the same weight as say for example the six cylinder engine in the e30 325i for example or close to the original s14 unit that will be an ultimate dream on wheels. Just imagine the handling on the car, will just be out o sight. Cos i think the e30 s14 is just perfect from handling perspective and was never interested in the Alpina b6 3.5/3.5s that had the big six from the 6 series. So wil be really nice to know. Cheers

two of my friends here in UAE own stage 2.5 HPF .. pushing around 640 or 650 HP with methanol injection.. & I admit that its pretty fast !!
