[Vids]Modded E92 M3 DCT vs. Stock - Then ECU +59whp Tuned - C63 AMG

Had a chance to run my buddies stock C63, here are the vids against my modded E92 M3 DCT, around +40whp over stock.

+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

After the runs he went out that day and installed the powerchip ECU tune and made +59whp over his baseline, here are the rematch vids. Enjoy!

Nice runs. The only thing I don't understand is how hes getting 59 Whp form a tune on a N/A v8 sounds like way too much. Im not calling you a liar but to get 59 whp he needs to be getting about 80-100 crank hp over stock. And your telling me that cars pushing 550hp with a tune on an N/A motor I just cannot believe that(with no other mods). If its true please more info. Ether way nice runs car sounds great keep up the good work!

Your doubts and skepticism make total sense! But the 6.3 liter motor in the C63 is the same motor as the E63 and CLS63. The C63 comes detuned from the factory to 451BHP, while the E63 and CLS63 have over 500BHP. So basically the ECU tune gives you that 50BHP and a tad more. The car dynoed 342WHP stock/baseline then 401 WHP with the tune, this is on the DD's dyno, so on a Dyno Jet it would be more like 435WHP, in that range, it's the real deal!

I appreciate the kind words as well!

I know the 6.3 is the motor threw the range. That's what they do build a great motor and ruin it by throwing it in every class thats neither hear nor there. Back to my skepticism. I was under the impression that other then the ecu detuning it there was also a mechanical component different. Im not 100% sure of what because i never had interest in the car just usto do bits of research for a few races with the old 335. Like i said before either way Amazing runs. If you could point me in the direction of this tune/company it would be greatly appreciated. I always like to know whats out there and capable.

P.S. the math still don't add up but it seems like you messed up your numbers by accident

He meant to say that the stock C63 made 343 rwhp and after the ECU tune, it made 401 rwhp. I believe this particular car has the Powerchips ECU tune. Other reputable companies include Renntech, Brabus, Kleeman to name a few. Their stage 1 ECU tune provide pretty much the same gains so it is a matter who you prefer to go with and the cost. The gains are real and make sense on the detuned C63 engine. Numerous youtube videos back up the claims, not to mention the enthusiasts on mbworld forums who have posted dyno runs.

Your car is sick, bro. M3, FTW. Amazing runs. I enjoy your videos. I like the one against the CLK Black series.
