Trade: Porsche 996 C4 for M3 cab w/SMG ??????????????????????????

Are there any new M3 cab w/SMG owners out there that moved from (or still own) a 911 (preferably 996) to the new M3, preferably w/SMG? If so, I am interested in hearing your opinions of the two cars. I am looking for feedback on handling, performance 0-60 & 80-100, braking, overall fit & finish, seats, but mostly, the overall difference in driving these two different cars.

I currently have a '99 996 C4 coupe. I really want to get a cab. The car is used predominantly for pleasure driving on the weekends. My kids are getting older and having a problem getting them into the rear of the 911 these days. Also, I kind of would like to have my wife drive the car when she wants and she does not drive manual. The M3 cab w/SMG seems to be the perfect compromise for my situation. There is no way I would get a 911 cab w/Tiptronic. I drove one and it sucked! I owned a '97 M3 before the 911 and liked it alot, but I do love driving the Porsche. It's an awesome car. I'm bummed about the current market conditions for trading in the car, took a big hit, but could do a trade-in for a new M3 cab since its much less than a 911 cab by about $25k! Anyway, any feedback from the board would be much appreciated. thanks, KB/LI
