Beautiful car!

I have the same intake manifold, but I have not been able to find a suitable part to stabilize the intake. Is the part on the intake portion of the manifold a standard CSL part, or was it manufactured by Hartge?

Kirk

Found the parts - they are CSL. The question now is, how do I order them.

Sorry for bumping such an old thread but I accidentally came across it on google as I was searching for hartge pictures.

I can confirm these pictures are the same car as the video.
Stian was the first owner in Norway in 2005 @ aprox 16.000 km.
Previos owner bought it @ about 55.000 km I think.

And I bougth it at 63.000 km. I've driven 4k km since then.

The car is manufactured by Hartge in 2003. Everything is oem M3 and CSL parts except for wheels, exhaust etc. Exhaust should have been from Hartge according to them but as far as I can see this is stock M3 muffler and most likely rest of it (the sound is a bit raspy). I'm not sure about the headers but the car defenitely sounds different from stock M3 both inside and outside the car but I don't know how much the CSL Airbox do to the exhaust note.

I'm just about to order SuperSprint Race muffler and X-pipe.

Btw, you can follow this link to read more about the car: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3238415

You can also see the improved quality of the film at hdtube.no also located at cardomains.

Please read up on that site before making any false claims about this car. It has happened before because people don't believe Hartge made this model. But they did make this one and maybe one or two similar "CSLs".

Very nice car Mortey
Estoril was my favorite color and I used to have an Estoril E36 M3 EVO coupe; loved that car.

So now I have ordered KW V3, Recaro PP (black leather) and still waiting for th SSR exhaust.

Was thinking about upgrading the front brake pads to either YellowStuff or some kind of Pagid.
Any recomandations for street/track use?

Do you think I should get some camber plates?
Can I use the OEM strut bar with more than 1/2' negative camber (or can it brake)?

I have to admit that I am a unexperienced driver but I'm very interested in tuning the car right.
When I take it to the track for the first time I will focus on doing the cornering right and learn
how to do things by the book and still go easy so that I don't fly off the track and do any damage.
Probably keep the DSC on to begin with :P

I also have BBS CH 19x9" and 19x10" that I can use for trackdays.
Any recomandation for road legal R-tires/slicks? Toyo R888?

Thanks

Hi Morten,

If you don't mind poor cold performance on the road but want top notch track performance, Pagid yellow (RS-29/RS-19) is the one. if you want something in between Pagid Orange (RS4-4) will do.

Michelin Pilot Sport Cups is what you want for the track. Toyo R888's have a bit better wet performance but on the dry and damp track the PSC rules!

Enjoy your beauty and keep it on the black stuff....
Look forward to seeing you at the ring after the mods.

I got recomended Performance Friction brake pads, so if I get them for a decent prize I will go with them (z-series?) or I will go with Pagid.

Look what I got in the mail today
Still waiting for the seats and exhaust though.
