i am agree with you....csl is the best bmw ever made!

With the ratio 4.10 the csl is forward the e9x.

Nice ... but a M3 CSL even so remains a M3 CSL ... one of the greatest M3 ... and the most advanced engine ....

i have test yesterday with a E92 dkg 7500 km, with 18" rims, i have on my csl a 4.10 ratio and catback, silencer ss race. and bbs ch 19" (this rims was very heavy than original csl).

we have make 2 tests at 110 km/h, the two car was in 3 gear...at 250 km/h the e92 was the first with one car and half...

I think with the original csl rims and 19 rims on the e92 there is less différence...

i have test with an R8 manual gearbox, at Dijon presnois, 150/240 i am behind (one car)...

I wait to take sportcats Milltek and John thorney Remap... I have ask some csl user stage 2....I don't want to go in England for nothing!
