Michelin built something similar for Porsches (N-spec) GT3, RS, GT2 which supposedly has better wet traction and the word at the Porsche forums is that the generic non N-Spec version handles bettter in the dry which doesn't surprise me. It's all about comprimise. When you improve the wet grip, the dry grip suffers. It's like those 2 in one Shampoo + Conditioners which are best for neither purposes (not that I have enough hair to properly test them.
