Im not talking any 335i. I am saying the M5 and M6 definetly looses out on not starting on 1st gear at 50 km/h thanks to SMG. Question is if the M3 looses more on startinng on 1st because of manual gearbox and tyrespin.
Also, the M5 Touring was as I heard faster once the race went without problems and gained post at speeds over 200 km/h.

It´s clear that the M3 e92 should have benefit if start was from second gear.
There are interesting things to see between M3 e92 and 335i, I will post that later on (or when next video appears).
Maybe M3 is´nt that slow after all.....

This is what actually happened.
You make a small jump but have to shift immediately and loose ground. The M3 will suffer from this the rest of the race. Even if the cars are equally accelerating further down the straight, the 335 will pull inch by inch because it still has a higher speed.
The log can show a perfect start from 70 where both cars have second gear. The result is interesting.
