Thanks Gustav.....

Way to represent 335i's PER!!!

Judging by the thread over on E90Post....http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92258

2 things will happen:
  • The M5board Supercar Shootouts will continue to build a following
  • The 335i will finally be taken seriously

Looking at the 335i results, it looks like the M3 vs. RS4 will be very close....

Why is it wearing M5 wheels?

I wouldn't say the M5 Tourign lost; he misshifted. The third and correct race M5 Touring vs Vishnu V2 335i the M5 Touring won at the end apparantly.

No need for specualtion, video will come.

RS4, E92 M3 and 997 CS all lost to the 335 by about 5 cars lengths and was even with the M5 Touring.

Sorry, Gustav!

Not surprisingly-chipped 335i beats all except the V-10 M6 and 997TT

Hmmm...just as I suspected (and posted earlier on a previous thread of Gustav testing the new M3).......BMW will live to regret entering the V-8 engine class with such a weak weapon
The new M3 - is going to have a really really tough time competing in this class. It's underpowered by about 20hp at least.
The modded 335 beat all the cars except the M6 and 997TT - (to which it lost by about 5 car lengths)
I own a 2005 M3 and I think BMW should have done what Porsche is doing and improve upon that brilliant in-line 6 period.
They could easily get 400hp out of that engine , but instead are in a HP war with AMG ( and losing by the way).
Lets see how powerful a 415hp V-8 M3 looks in just 1 year!!
Who wants to be in the new M3 and have a guy in a chipped 335i take you. Insult upon injury! Kudos to the 335i

Nothing beats the v-10 engines in the M6 and M5- not even a chipped 335i.

Great job putting this event together Gustav as usual- excellent work. I think the vids are a foregone conclusion - unless I missed something here.

I definetly will not be getting the new M3- plus I bet BMW will be releasing a version of that engine with forced induction in the not too distant fututure in a galaxy far far far away

M3 vs RS4 wasn't that close. Oh, two standing start runs with the M3 vs RS4, + chasing on the way back

WHy would you think so?

Also, is it a crime to try to make these events profitable

All films will be on YouTube, I have never said anything else. High-def and DVD will be orderable for those who wants to support me and the site and these events.
