So what were the mods on the M6? All things being equal
if the M6 beat the Vishnu v2 by the same number of car
lengths as the Porsche TT then it's got to have something
special? Anyone?

Logically translate to M6(mods) will equal to 997TT. Your M6 would have a chance too
Haha...well, I don't think I'll be picking a fight with a 997TT
anytime soon...maybe with some NOS?
EDIT: BTW, not to say that I couldn't put up a good fight with headers as 2
posts on dragtimes for a 997tt are 11.7@121 and 12.2@117 ...could be
a drivers race. NOS could ensure the victory.

Are the 335's limited over there to 250km/h (155mph) like in the us? I noticed as you were passing the 335 you say 265km/h (165mph) at the ~1:24 mark in the video that means the 335 hit the limiter before you did hence you passed right?
Wrong, I pass him at 240 km/h. Limiter is around 260-270 km/h tachospeed on the M5 / 335i is my guess.

since it had th eheavier BMW M5 wheels instead of the BMW M6 wheels.
