Speech recognition language configuration

Hi,

I've set the iDrive software to English but the speech recognition is not playing suit as it remains in Deutsch

Has someone any knowledge on how to configure it to English as mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut

Bitte Schon und noch ein Bier Danke

Ian
Hmm, there's no Scottish flag in the smiley icon set.

For anyone else in the same situ with the speech recognition language, well, you can only change the language detection by dropping your car off at your BMW dealership. There's something kinda cool calling up a CD track in Deutsch, I'm thinking of leaving it as is.

Is there a way to properly turn off the CD player/stack? The owner guide states to press the button to the left of the CD player, but this seems only to mute and I can still here the CD swirling.

Cheers,

Ian
