BMW Valet Service
BMW pays for pickup and delivery of a BMW 760 from your home and leaves a loan car, stated clearly in it's manual. Does anyone know if this is suppose to be provided on other $100K+ cars from BMW?

No. The dealer is only obligated/guarantee a BMW for 760 owners. Some dealers make sure their 760 owners get another 7 at a minimum though...
I own a 6(Loaded) and a 750Li (loaded) and I get a 5 series on occasion but 7 series most of the time. I have seen a Z8 owner get a X5 and in one other case a 7 series owner recieved a 3 series but I am sure his 7 was not 100K.
I guess your question is because you own a M6... Well, though owners spend tons of money of the M brand, they unfortunately do not get any better treatment (Sometimes), than a 3 Series owner. The statement I make is based on my experience.

In my 2004 760 manual it clearly states that your BMW dealer should provide both valet service (pickup and drop off at your home or place of business) and a BMW loan car. The valet service of course can only be provided by good BMW dealers that provide such a service, mine does.

I wouldn't take advantage of the valet service even if they offered it for the M6. I trust my SA and staff, but the 20+ miles from my home to the dealership, 80% of which is wide open freeway driving, would be way too tempting for them to really open her up. No thank you, I'll drive her myself.

Why is that. They opened it up before you took delivery...
Just joking, I hear ya but I love my car but not that much; it's just a car and we all have insurance if something should happen; no?

Well, as far as what they did when it was delivered, ignorance is bliss. But I know how they were when they instructed me regarding break-in (do not deviate from the recommendations at all and don't use P500 until after the 1200 mile service) so I trust that they respected the break-in as well. With 5000 miles on the car, from their perspective (and mine), all those rules are out the door. I also took delivery with only a few miles on the car, so they could not have taken it on the freeway or anywhere else that they could really open it up. (They could've spent the few miles doing donuts in the parking lot, however, but I trust that they didn't.)

Very true, but I do love my car THAT much. Accidents happen, but there is a way of reducing the chances. One way is to keep people who don't drive a car regularly from seeing what it is capable of without the driver present . . . And we all know what the M6 is capable of!!!
I will NEVER allow someone to drive my M6 without me present, unless, of course, my car is in for servicing and a short drive is required. I have strict rules regarding the driving and accumulated mileage for such drives, but as I mentioned, a 20+ mile drive with a lot of freeway may just be too tempting. Not worth the risk in my book.

Loaners
I have a 2005 645Ci now and had a 2002 745i before that. The 745 was in the shop for something (usually electronic/software) on average of EVERY month for the 36 months I leased it. A lot of service days I used the dealer's free shuttle service from the shop to work.
However a number of times they kept the car overnight. More often than not, I got a dirty, scratched Enterprise rental car. A thousand a month lease payments and I'm driving a gubby, dinged Toyota for a day or two a lot of months. Gripes the h3ll out of me. When I did get a BMW loaner, it was ALWAYS a 3 series. The only exception was when my 7 was DOA for the third time (fuel pump in the gas tank it turned out), and the mechanic drove the Service Manager's E-60 5 series to where the 745i broke down. In the end the mechanic stayed with the car (waiting for the flatbed tow truck) and I drove off in the 530 (which I kept for a week while they flew parts in to fix the 7).
The dealership (BMW of Honolulu) says they only have at best 1 loaner (always a 3 series) per service advisor so they are often already out with another customer when they suddenly discover at 4 pm that your car won't be ready that day as planned and you need wheels to get home.
I mentioned that the MB dealer across the street has a fleet of loaners and that I know from friends that they routinely put their customers (even C owners) into a loaner when a car is dropped off, even for a same day service. My dealer just said, 'Yeah, well, they don't run shuttles like we do.' A lame excuse if you ask me.
Fortunately the 645 is way more reliable than the 745 was, so it not a big deal to me right now, but when I get an M6, I wonder how accomodating they will be.

The dealership where I go is part of a huge strip of luxury dealerships and Hertz very smartly set up a shop right in the middle of the strip. When I bought my M6 I signed a form that said the dealership would pay for a Hertz rental car when my car was in for service, but I had to acknowledge that I understood that I would not receive a loaner and the rental car I received would very likely NOT be a BMW. Understandable since Hertz doesn't have a fleet of BMW's (at least not at that location).
The accommodation for me as an M6 owner is that I typically get the rental "upgrade" vehicle, e.g., a big Lincoln or something along those lines . . . But I definitely have to get myself to the dealership -- no offered valet service. My guess is that the 760 owners at the dealership have to sign a similar form but get the same treatment -- an upgraded rental. Don't know for sure, though.
