Here does a Ruf Turbo R traps in at a higher speed than the Carrera GT... Also, the 0-200 km/h is 11,8 s for the Turbo R, which is faster than the new 911 Turbo and almost Zonda-like performance. It is in fact between Ford GT (11,2 s) and Lamborghini Murcieolago LP640 (12,0 s). Auto Motor und Sport figures fro the Lambo and GT40, Ruf factory figures for the Turbo R.

Yes, but the Ruf 993 Turbo R is very fast. Oficial Ruf time 0-200 km/h is faster than a Murciolago LP640 test times.

As always...

This is great stuff Gustav.

As the current (and original) owner of a '97 911tt, I can tell you that they are brutal by modern day standards, and quite tame by earlier standards. This from one who's driven 911s for 30+ years, year-round. I never anteed up for a RUF -- probably should have though!

I'm doing a shoot with a Ruf 550 very soon whic has had additional upgrades
promises to be interesting from what I see in this video plus what the owner tells me about the car
