Why is it that the cabs are just screaming for carbon fiber trim? The wood is just a bit too subtle/conservative/bland for this convertible. Kind of like an older MB look. Of course this is just my opinion.

Exactly. Had the strangest feeling of deja vu looking at Lorinser's pics, and this explains it. From the 60s, like the 220SE convertible I once owned. Guess that's why it appeals to me, the old iron fist in a silk glove effect.

I think the Portland works well with Interlagos. Definetly not a popular combo but looks nice.

I think Portland works well with any exterior color excluding Silver Gray & Silverstone. Very rich interior color!
