Tim, does the soft close doors option also include the one-button close for the trunk (as in the 7 series)?

Another question, what inspired your choice of SB and the PB interior? Have you seen one in person or was it due to some of the photos on the board?

Black/Black/Piano Black! Piano black is preferable for re-sale as CF trim can turn some buyers off (I actually really like it) and as I change my cars more often than you change your underwear I have to take popularity of options into account. I'm really hoping that soft close does inlude the boot - it is the one thing I struggle with.

I'll change it in a year this time (taking the current car after 6 months was a big mistake the way the market is in the UK for the M6 - people just see it as a two door BMW that is £15k more than the four door equivalent.) Then I'll go for Silver Grey.

Lol, you got me, but as they'd say in a cheap diner, one semi-OT post coming up...

Ah, never underestimate the cleanliness -- or lack thereof -- of this board's friendly contributors .

In retribute, I do think however, that I changed mine last friday, or was that the friday before last...hmm. At any rate, I'd be more than happy to ship them to you for inspection and a somewhat more comprehensive forensic "last-wear" determination -- j/k, lol.

Btw, I was going to post a picture, but either I simply have too much respect for fellow board members, or perhaps I feared that those same members might shame me with even, dare I say it, dirtier work...

Lastly, to "Tide" you over, have a look at this bit of entertainment: http://www.guzer.com/videos/dirty_draws.php.
