How to use Launch Control?

Hi guys,
Well I have been hearing about launch control for a while now
And because I don’t or didn’t want to look not knowledgeable
Aka stupid about my own car, I did not ask.

So please can some explain to me how to use MY launch control option? lol
I also saw some where in the board that this option is not available in the US
Is that true?
I was trying to look for this in the car manual but couldn’t find it?
Anyone has page number or something that explains this?
Any help regarding this subject would be greatly appreciated!

Never mind,

I found a thread by chance, USA launch control inop ?

I tried it and it is really jerky but fun, also US M6 - M5 can LC
up to 1600rpm! Thats nothing vs rest of the world 4000rpm+.
Still a nice spin from the tires to it.

My LC on my M6 is all wacked out...

It'll burn rubber for like 500RPMs, then just jerk and just roll...nothing like my M5 when I would just burn rubber all the way through 1st gear.

I wonder if the Eisenmann Exhausts had anything to with this?

hey bro,

Nah the exhaust has nothing to do with it, I got the same thing to
but you know why?

In the US the LC goes only up to 1600RPM where in europ and rest
of the world the LC goes up to 4000RPM, so our LC is weaker than others,
and as far as the M5 I think because it is a little heavier and will make the
tires burn more? guess a logic guess
