How do you compare the ECU reprogram you had done with whats been done here in the states now by company's such as AA.

How long did the work take at Hartgeand did they also raise the rev limiter and remove the charcoal filter??

The video speaks volumes.Its fantastic

All I want yo know is that do you consider the ECU reprogram here by AA the same as achieving the same end result as Hartge did for you.

Hartge told me they did not change the basic spec but programmed to very precise BMW tolerances as there is a fair variation in engines as they leave the factory. ther figured I had abut 525-530BHP when I left them in Beckingen.

I am not sure if they are doing the full delimiting any more..they may be just doing the 305Km/h level, unlike myself and Autobahnraser who got exactly the same work done. I was at the Hartge facility in Beckingen for about two and a half hours. I suggest you call Jorg Wey there...he is a great guy and knows the Board well, so you will get a 5% discount.

Thans Ronan
Quick question
Can Jorg arrannge for the work to done over here
Active Autowerke seems to have a program identical to what you had done over here:

-Vmax delimiter through ECU reprogramming
-bhp gain of about 20hp with filters and software only

Thanks for the feedback though and great video

Wow. That makes me want to go back to Germany and drive. I bet those palms were pretty sweaty up at those speeds.

That's the speed an M6/M5 can hit with the limiter removed. AA does it here in the states. I'm getting it done on Tuesday.

They were very stable. It was surprising how calm the whole thing was. Autobahnraser has experience on this road, so I merely followed. Evidently at those speeds you do not want to be too close to one another as there is a certain amount of air disturbance.
