[quote=Demon_M6]WOW Very nice run there ronan, gotta give the guy his
Credit, he sure shifts faster

So what’s the best ECU reprogramming out there?
I will sure do it in a hart beat.

I am very high on Hartge for tuning..and the next BMW I pcik up in Germant will also go directly there. They are incredibly helpful people and I highly recommend them.

Autobahnraser was definitely shifting faster than I was. I also wanted to leave a fair amount of space between us so I could seee and curves in the road in advance...tailgatng at 200mph is ok in NASCAR but it a bit risky on a public road.

If you want to mount a videocam...here is a great link...
I used the seatback bracket for the instrument cam over my left shoulder...http://www.b-hague.co.uk/Mounting%20Brackets.htm

@ Autobahnraser

which tires do you use? Do you know the max. speed of your tires?

As I know, the Contis and Michelins are only specified for the M-Drivers Package (Limit 305 km/h). Some M5 / M6 drivers tried to get a confirmation from Michelin for the PS II, but Michelin only confirmed 310 km/h max. speed.

For me, it would be frightening, to drive 340 km/h with tires, which are only specified for 305 km/h...

I've got a certification from Pirelli that the PZeroCorsas (255/40 and 285/35 ZR19) are good for speeds up to 325 km/h (effective speed).

The M6 tested during the Sport Auto Supertest did an effective, GPS measured top-speed of 259 km/h. The displayed speedo top speed was 270 km/h.
So you have to subtract about 15 km/h from the speedo-speed when driving top speed (340 - 15 = 325 km/h).
Exceeding the max. tire-speed for a short time is no problem either.

With the PZeroCorsas you are pretty safe!

Holy Sh&t!

Can you imagine what the drivers were thinking when a couple of 6'ers pass them at 200 mph?

Germany has a very high standard of driving and people are cool with high speeds, so I am sure it hardly bothered anyone....People pull out of the way for faster traffic and keep in the proper lanes, so it is a pleasure to drive there. I was often pased by faster traffic and followed the rules like anyone else.
