F430 VS M6/M5

This was is a subject that was repeated on the forum for quite some time. IO read that member FKS65 from sweden owned a F430 and said the M6 was faster?! Are you kidding me??? I have driven the new F430 both on and off track, the M6 is comparable but the F430 is wayyy faster in accelerations and twisties so is the ferrari soundtrack..Don't get me wrong the M6 is a beast so is my M5 but when it comes to peak performance the Ferrari is the king no doubt

For the show and for the exclusivity i would pick the F430, but for if i were to actually buy the car, M6 all the way.
IMO there is a chapter at wich the F430 gets beaten and that's at higher speeds (over 180-200km/h)

also autocar did a comparison test and on the road the m5 pulled away from the ferrari which could not keep up.
I think the ferrari will feel faster no doubt,it is low down and the noise is tremendous, but the m5/m6 is deceptively fast,it does not really feel that fast especially below 100mph,but it is much quicker than it feels ..if that makes sense ?
Also Autocars road test had unbelievable high speed acceleration for the m6,they stated it was actually quicker in several increments than a murcialago.

When I dropped my M5 off to its new owner, he took me for a drive over a stretch of road that he uses to test every car he gets. He had only the week before driven his 430 through this section and he exclaimed to me that the M5 was faster thought that particular series of bends! He was pleasantly surprised. He is an ex race driver so he should know what he is talking about.
