I will be updating all of you with the production, shipping and final delivery of my M6 BMW (yes, you'll have to put up with me for a while!).

O.K., So you wanna win a nice BMW Sauber F1 Team hat (to replace the Williams one)?
Guess the correct day and hour that I will take delivery of my shiny new Black M6 and I will present you with the hat.

Some facts to help you with your guess:

Port of entry is Point Hueneme
Delivery at an Oregon dealership
Hint: Pick up probably sometime in June if all goes well!!

Rules:
1) Post your estimated date and hour (PDT) of delivery on this thread
2) Only one guess per person
3) Closest date & time wins, in a tie a hat will be awarded to each
4) If more than one post has the same date and time the earliest post wins
5) Any edited posts will be void (don't be changing that stinking date!!)
6) Employees of BMW and their affiliated shippping and transports companies are not eligible.
7) Deadline for posting is May 31, 2006. Posts after that date are ineligible.
8) Judges decision (mine) is final

04/28/06 Production started
05/04/06 Entered body shop/serial number assigned
05/05/06 Entered paint shop

05/09/06 Final assembly/quality check

MTO, if you're not already in the PR business, I think you've missed your true calling, lol .

I'm gonna take my time on this one, give me a bit to think on this. It would really be of great help if you could take your laptop with you on pick-up day and post when you've arrived in the dealership parking lot .

Btw, not that'll matter much to anyone else (except me, of course), but any prizes for *worst* guess?

I was thinking that after all the guesses are in (I hope everyone finds this somewhat fun) I'll put a list together in cronological order. I'll update as news comes in with a date & time stamped picture at delivery via my lap top!!
